KAFCON — the Korea Africa Cup of Nations

An annual football tournament that unites Africans living in Korea and promotes a positive image of the continent through sport.

12 nations, 4 groups of 3. Group stage in the morning, knockouts in the afternoon, final under lights. Top two from each group advance to the quarterfinals; knockouts are single-leg, extra time, then penalties. Tracked live on the official match center.

Registration opens each March. Squads run roughly 11–15 players, organized by nationality.

South Africa took it on penalties

Zimbabwe knocked Nigeria out 5–4 from the spot, South Africa saw off Kenya 1–0, and the final went the same way as the first semi — 5–4 on penalties, this time to South Africa. First title for the rainbow nation, and a ₩1,000,000 winners' cheque.
